Our History
Lewis Haigh and Sons is a long-standing family business who undertake all aspects of groundworks.
Lewis Haigh and Sons was formed by Lewis Haigh in the early 1980s. Following Lewis's retirement, the business has been run by Jason Haigh and his wife Julie, who work alongside their son Oliver.

Our Services
Tarmacadam
We have the knowledge and expertise to undertake all types of tarmac, whether it be completely new area from sub-base up, or renovation of existing tarmac via the addition of an overlay.
Concrete works
We can deliver all aspects of concrete works, including mass fill and reinforced concrete. We regularly install buried concrete for foundations etc., and also visible concrete for slabs etc., where the the finished appearance is critical.
Drainage
We undertake all types of drainage works using a variety of materials (Plastic, clay and concrete). We have the knowledge and experience to install drainage to adoptable standards. We also undertake sewer connections and septic tanks as well as sustainable drainage schemes, including rainwater attenuation, etc.
Paving
We have experience of all types of paving including, yorkshire stone, cobbles, porcelain tiles, block paving etc., Let us know your preferences and we can establish the most appropriate solution.
Highways
We can deliver highways work to adoptable standards, including utilities work for water, gas, electricity, and sewerage. We undertake domestic vehicle crossings including the submission of required paperwork for Local Authority approvals.
New Build
Along with our groundworks offering, we can also undertake new build elements to developments. We can cover the complete site development processes, from initial groundwork onward. This will ensure that your project is delivered to meet your requirements.
